Looking for a way to make some extra cash on the side? Maybe you’re just bored and want a creative outlet. Whether you need a little extra income or have an art-related hobby, there are plenty of ways to make some money from your day job.
While it’s not always easy to find these opportunities in your area, here are six side hustles you can do with no money.

We get into some deep topics. We also talk about random things like Elon Musk and his meteoric rise in 2020–2021.

No, you don’t need an eBay account to sell your clothes. Let your friends and family know what you’re looking for, and they can give you a hand. Offer them a lower price than you would be able to find in stores, and they’ll be more likely to buy.
Places like Poshmark and StockX are also amazing places to sell clothes.
Teaching Music, Dance, or Other Skills
If you have a certain skill, such as playing the piano, you can teach others how to do it. Many people love music and if they want to learn how to play the piano, all they need is a teacher. You can charge them an hourly or monthly fee for your services. If you’re not musically inclined, you could also teach dance lessons or other skills like cooking and carpentry.
Online Surveys
Online surveys are a great way to make some extra cash. You can do them while you’re at work or on your break, or anytime that you have a few minutes for them. You’ll get paid for each survey you complete, and the pay ranges from $1-$10. Typically you’ll receive an email notification when new surveys are available so you can log in and start earning money right away.
The best part about doing online surveys is that they’re really easy to do. To get started with them, just sign up for a survey site like Survey Junkie and answer the questions as thoroughly as possible. If you don’t qualify for any of the surveys that pop up, Survey Junkie will give you an opportunity to tell them what types of surveys you want to take instead.
Freelance Writing
Freelance writing is one of the most accessible options out there. There are plenty of sites that will pay you to write an article, blog post, or something else. Freelancers can make anything from $10-$20 per hour depending on if they want to work full-time or part-time. If you’re looking for a creative outlet, freelance writing might be for you!
Freelance Designing
Freelance designing is a great opportunity for designers with no professional experience. In fact, it doesn’t take any formal training to start selling your services. You can work from home or from anywhere with internet access. All you need is a computer and the skills to design. If you’re a creative person who has a knack for graphic design, this could be an excellent opportunity to pursue your hobby and make some money at the same time.
Blogging
Blogging is one of the easiest side gigs to get started with. You can start your own blog on platforms like WordPress. However, you’ll need to make sure your blog is compelling enough to draw in an audience. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to make your blog more appealing. For example, you could write about things that people are already interested in, like movies or television shows.
Financing it once you make a profit
These are six ways you can make more money with absolutely no money.
While these are all good ways to make money, financing them after making a profit can be a pain so here are some tips on how to do that. I will say, it requires a lot of research and planning. But it is possible to do it without any money at all.
The first step is to start with the end in mind. What are you trying to accomplish? What are your goals?
The second step is to find out what you have that you can sell or trade for the things that you need.
The third step is to find out what skills you have that can be monetized, such as writing, graphic design, web design, etc.
The fourth step is to find out what skills your friends and family have that they can monetize as well.
The fifth step is to get creative with your ideas and brainstorm ways of making money without spending
